Each year, Construction Inclusion Week (CIW) brings organizations across the industry together to highlight the importance of creating a more inclusive and welcoming construction workforce. This year’s observance, taking place October 12-16, focuses on workforce development and the role companies play in opening doors to meaningful careers.

At Opus, that focus aligns closely with our belief that Team Opus builds more than buildings. Together we work hard to build teams, client relationships, careers, communities and a whole lot more. From introducing students to opportunities in our industry to supporting professional growth and investing in our communities, we are committed to helping develop the next generation of talent.

Opening Doors to the Industry

Throughout the year, Opus associates across the country connect with students and emerging professionals through career fairs, industry partnerships and internship opportunities. These efforts provide students with hands-on exposure to careers in construction, development, architecture, engineering and project management while helping them envision futures within the industry. By engaging with talent early and sharing firsthand experiences, we help open doors to careers that many may have not previously considered.

Developing Talent

Workforce Development doesn’t end with recruitment. We are equally focused on helping associates grow once they step through our doors. Through mentorship, hands-on learning, cross-functional collaboration and professional development opportunities, we create an environment where associates can build skills, gain experience and grow their careers.
