News Release: FTI Announces Pittsboro Expansion, Creating 200 Jobs – New facility marks first building in Opus’ Pittsboro Commerce Center
We’re completing the site infrastructure for our new planned industrial development in Pittsboro, IN, in preparation for Faith Technologies Incorporated.
Pittsboro, Ind. (April 9, 2026) — Faith Technologies Incorporated™ (FTI) is expanding to Pittsboro, Ind., and has begun construction on a 500,000-square-foot manufacturing facility within Opus’ new Pittsboro Commerce Center industrial development.
FTI delivers innovative solutions in engineering, construction, manufacturing and clean energy that drive industry growth and shape the future of energy. The new Pittsboro facility will support FTI’s Excellerate® brand, which specializes in modular electrical assemblies and energy solutions that enhance safety, productivity and sustainability.
The location will create more than 200 skilled manufacturing and electrical jobs, beginning with openings for foremen, superintendents and manufacturing leads. Additional positions, including entry-level roles, paid apprenticeships and support functions, will be added over time to support operational growth and safety companywide.
“We’re excited to begin this new chapter for our team as a part of the Pittsboro community,” said Patrick McGettigan, executive vice president of FTI. “As we grow, we continue to maintain our uncompromising focus on safety and our Culture of Care, which is our commitment to supporting our team members’ total well-being and creating a workplace where people feel valued, respected and accepted. We look forward to this new partnership and making a positive impact in Pittsboro.”
Pittsboro Commerce Center is a new 170-acre industrial development planned by Opus and located near the Interstate 74/N County Road 275 E interchange. Opus sold 47 acres to FTI and is currently completing site infrastructure, including grading, access roads and utilities. FTI is serving as general contractor for their facility, the first building within the development. Opus plans to build out the remainder of the project in phases.
“With a skilled workforce, robust transportation infrastructure and proximity to downtown Indianapolis, Pittsboro is well positioned for industrial growth,” said Alex Vulic, vice president of real estate development with Opus. “We’re excited to advance Pittsboro Commerce Center and welcome FTI as the first user in the development. Their growth will bring high-quality jobs and help drive future investment in the region.”
The State of Indiana and Hendricks County offered to support the project through incentive-based tax credits through the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and a property tax abatement through Hendricks County based on FTI’s expected impact on economic growth and job creation in Pittsboro and the surrounding region.
“FTI’s investment in Pittsboro is a testament to Indiana’s robust capability in advanced manufacturing and our commitment to lead advancements in the industry for years to come,” said Indiana Governor Mike Braun. “The company’s new operations will have a significant impact on this growing community and its economy, creating hundreds of new jobs and providing unique talent development opportunities to further skill up our workforce and prepare Hoosiers for high-pay, in-demand careers.”
Local officials agreed, highlighting the project’s role in strengthening the region’s economy and industry leadership.
“We’re proud to welcome FTI to Pittsboro,” said Jarod Baker, president of Pittsboro Town Council. “Their commitment to innovative manufacturing and workforce development makes them a strong partner as we continue to grow our local economy and create opportunities for residents.”
