News Release: Opus Completes First Development Project in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC – September 30, 2025 – Opus today announced that construction is complete on Huntersville Commerce Center, a 131,000-square-foot Class A speculative industrial building located in the highly desirable The Park – Huntersville. The building is Opus’ first in the greater Charlotte market as the company launches its expansion into the Southeastern United States.

The building sits on 11 acres, has a 32-foot clear height, 13 dock doors expandable to 26, a speculative office suite, two drive-in doors, 130 vehicle parking spaces and 11 trailer parking stalls.

Huntersville Commerce Center is being marketed for lease by Justin Smith and Rob Speir of Colliers. Opus was the developer, design-builder and architect and structural engineer of record on the project.
