Chris Trosper

Chris began his career in commercial real estate in 2003 and joined our team in 2023. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Vanderbilt University and his MBA in Finance from the University of Iowa.

As Director of Real Estate Development, Chris directs the acquisition and development strategy for our Des Moines office. His responsibilities include managing the leasing, selling and marketing of projects across multiple sectors, and coordinating all design, project management and construction activities.

Early in his career Chris was a project manager with ARCO Design/Build in Atlanta, Georgia where he gained design/build experience on projects across various commercial sectors and in multiple geographic markets. Chris also previously worked at Principal Real Estate Investors and spent time in multiple roles including engineering services, asset management, construction lending, special servicing, and debt underwriting/origination. With Principal, Chris covered many major markets across the United States and completed projects across all real estate sectors. Chris has also worked for Hubbell Realty Company, an Iowa based real estate development company. At Hubbell, Chris was the Vice President of both commercial development and Equity & Investor relations. Chris has raised equity for multiple commercial projects and has simultaneously spearheaded the development efforts of those commercial projects.
