Experience
Nick began his career in 2018 as a general contractor, doing self-performed work, project management and estimating, and joined our team in 2021.
His strong communication skills have been recognized by clients, one of whom shared that they were able to make informed decisions based on Nick’s consistent communication of updates, obstacles and possible solutions.
Nick was able to showcase his expertise and ability to work under pressure, attention to detail and work ethic on the Dakota Commerce Center project (Fargo, North Dakota). A few weeks prior to completion of the shell building, Marvin Windows signed a whole-building lease with a short five-month timeline, which included design, establishment of a guaranteed maximum price (GMP), coordination with the client on their specific manufacturing equipment needs and construction. With a focus on scheduling and communication, Nick’s team delivered the project on time.
He was part of two “summer slam” school projects at DeLaSalle High School and Academy of Holy Angels, both of which included renovations of existing classrooms and also a project at Cretin Derham Hall that included renovations of their athletic facilities including locker room spaces, concessions, restrooms, film rooms and an addition of a mezzanine in an existing gym space to provide a new wrestling area and dance room beneath.
Outside of work Nick enjoys golfing, working on home improvement projects, boating on the river and spending time with his two children.
