Opus Redeveloping Property to Meet Demand for Luxury Multifamily Living in Edina, MN
In Edina, Minn., one of the country’s most affluent cities, Opus will breathe new life into an unused asset on Lincoln Drive. Redevelopment is currently underway at the highly-desirable property, which was the site of a 307,000-square-foot building formerly leased to UnitedHealth Group.
Leveraging its extensive multifamily development, design and construction expertise, Opus will build a luxury four-story, 246-unit multifamily apartment building on the site. Units will range from 585 square feet to 1,350 square feet, offering a variety of floor plans from alcoves to two-bedroom units with a den. Upscale finishes desirable to today's renters will be included. Residents will enjoy many amenities, including underground parking, a club room, an entertainment kitchen and a fitness center. A covered walkway will lead to a courtyard with an enclosed game room and entertainment space. Outdoor amenities will include a pool, fire pit and bocce ball court.
With this development, Opus is meeting a rising demand for high-end living in the area, which is in close proximity to employment hubs and Highway 169. It is also adjacent to a regional trail system being developed by the Three Rivers Park District.
Completion is slated for spring of 2018.
