Opus Complements Downtown Mesa Revitalization with Mesa Arts District Lofts

As the downtown corridor of Mesa, Ariz., continues to revitalize with significant commercial and civic redevelopment projects, Griffin Capital Company, L.L.C., and Opus are delivering a new mixed-use multifamily development, Mesa Arts District Lofts.

Developed and designed by Opus, Mesa Arts District Lofts is a 335-unit multifamily development on roughly 10 acres in Downtown Mesa. The project will consist of four buildings at three, four and five stories with private, gated, surface parking for each building. The first floor frontage along Main St. will consist of nearly 10,000 square feet of retail space.

Mesa Arts District Lofts is located in the heart of the Main Street Corridor across from Arizona State University's Mesa City Center Campus, which is currently under construction. They will attract ASU faculty and staff, university students, young professionals and young families and will provide a prime downtown location for retailers. The development, which is surrounded by family-oriented residential neighborhoods and charming historic districts, is integral to Mesa's downtown renaissance and will fuel Mesa's economic expansion for years to come.

Residents will be able choose from a diverse mix of units ranging from studios and alcoves to three-bedroom apartments, main street walk-up units and courtyard-facing lofts. Three-bedroom townhomes – thoughtfully designed for those who live and work from home – will also be available.

Residents will enjoy first-class project amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, a clubhouse and an outdoor amenity area with:

  • a swimming pool and spa
  • pool cabanas
  • a bocce court
  • a fire pit
  • an outdoor fitness area
  • social gathering spaces and conversation pits

Residents will have immediate access to the light rail with direct connection to downtown Tempe and downtown Phoenix and will be within walking distance of restaurants, the civic arts center and numerous other downtown amenities.

The Mesa Arts District Lofts will begin welcoming residents January 2023 and the project is schedule for full completion July 2023.
