GreenSlate Development Enlists Opus to Deliver Storz Warehouse as Demand for Industrial Space in Omaha Rises

Opus, on behalf of Omaha-based development and property management firm GreenSlate Development, is bringing a 202,000-square-foot speculative industrial/flex building to Omaha. Named after North Omaha's historic Storz Brewery, the Storz Warehouse will meet strong demand for industrial space in the market. The building will accommodate up to four tenants for office, showroom and bulk distribution use.

Storz Warehouse is situated on 11.5 acres adjacent to Eppley Airfield and many industrial users, including logistics providers and food manufacturers and distributors. With easy access to I-29, I-80 and I-680 and Hwy 75, and downtown Omaha, Storz Warehouse is in a highly desirable location for tenants serving the Central U.S. 

GreenSlate Development chose Opus to design and construct the building due to a long track record of expertise in industrial construction and an efficient design-build model.

Located at 5902 9th Street in Omaha, Storz Warehouse features:

  • 14 dock doors expandable up to 27

  • 91 parking stalls
  • outside trailer storage


 The building features LED lighting and clerestory windows to reduce energy expenditure and enhance the employee environment.

The building will be ready for occupancy in June 2024.
