Opus Addresses Demand in Denver for Low-Congestion Industrial Alternatives
With a demand for industrial facilities in low-congestion areas, Opus is developing, designing and building a new multitenant industrial building 15 miles north of Denver on the I-25 corridor.
Offering an easy-to-access alternative to the region's busy I-70 corridor, North Washington Commerce Center is located in Thornton, Colo. In addition to being situated near an Amazon fulfillment center, the area has a significant healthcare business presence. With multiple access points from I-25, the commerce center is also walking distance to Eastlake Station light rail, which opens in 2019, and includes excellent retail amenities in the immediate area to serve employees.
The 151,200-square-foot building provides a variety of sizes, clear height and loading options to optimize business operating efficiency. The flexible space can accommodate a single tenant or up to four tenants and features:
- six drive-in doors
- 24 dock positions (expandable to 26)
- ample employee parking with spaces for 303 cars
- room to expand with a proposed second building on the site
North Washington Commerce Center is scheduled for completion in summer 2019.
