Opus Addresses Demand for Modern Logistics Speculative Industrial in Columbus with Winchester Logistics Park

To meet demand in an active submarket for modern distribution, Opus developed, designed and constructed two speculative industrial buildings in Winchester Logistics Park in Canal Winchester on the southeast side of Columbus, Ohio. The buildings provide an important platform for growth in the community, where new speculative development is rare amidst a strong labor market and significant desire for industrial expansion.

Just 15 miles from Columbus, Winchester Logistics Park offers users a convenient location directly off Highway 33, which is easily accessed from I-70. It is adjacent to many amenities including restaurants, shopping centers and banks. For tenants and their employees, there is a walking path from Winchester Logistics Park to a nearby shopping center.

The two buildings are 258,000 and 556,000 square feet, totaling 814,000 square feet, with:

  • build-to-suit office space
  • 32 – 46 foot clear heights
  • LED lighting
  • ample auto and truck parking

Opus has been active in the Columbus area market for many years with projects like Spiegel II Distribution Center and eight buildings at Opus Business Center at Rickenbacker.

The two speculative industrial buildings in Winchester Logistics Park were built concurrently and were completed in September 2020.
