Opus Bringing Vibrant Senior Living Community to Broomfield, Colorado

With a growing population in the area, Opus is bringing a vibrant three-story, 165-unit senior living development with a wide array of amenities and services to Broomfield, Colo. Cadence Broomfield will provide a continuum of housing and care choices, including independent living, assisted living and memory care to allow residents to age in place.

The location at 4275 West 121st Avenue provides easy access to retail, healthcare, trail systems, as well as convenient transportation to both Denver to the south and Boulder to the north.

The four-wing building will feature a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Assisted living units will include kitchens or kitchenettes for residents, who may also choose to dine in the dining room. One wing with 20 units in a single story will be devoted to memory care. Featuring a neighborhood design, it will have its own entrance and a secured, outdoor therapy garden reserved for the memory care residents.

The building's overall design and roof pitches will match the panoramic slopes of the Front Range. The exterior will have a mix of metal, panel and stucco, with large windows while the interiors will feature high-end finishes with a modern and contemporary aesthetic.

The project includes a two-story main lobby, mailroom, salon, café bistro, dining room, private dining room, clubroom, activity room, fitness center, movie theater, library, game area, arts and crafts room and wellness center. Outdoor amenities include an outdoor patio, fire pit with seating area, grilling station and therapy garden.

The project is a joint venture between Opus, Eagle Realty Group and Cogir Senior Living.

The project is slated for completion in late spring 2024.
