CHICAGO, Ill. - The Opus Group announced today the completion and sale of a new industrial warehouse building for Maxzone Vehicle Lighting Corporation in West Dundee, Ill. The sale closed in late December 2012.
The building is located on 11.3 acres in the Oakview Corporate Park and includes 3,000 square feet of office space, 20 truck docks, two drive-in doors and ample parking for employees and customers. Construction of the 223,488-square-foot industrial facility began in August 2012, taking less than four months to complete.
“Maxzone required a very tight delivery timeframe, and our design-build team was able to complete construction just 100 days from breaking ground,” said Mike Yungerman, vice president of real estate development with Opus Development Company, L.L.C. “This is a case study as to the benefits of Opus’ design-build process.”
Noel Liston of Darwin Realty and Development Corporation represented Opus and Eric Chang of U S Asia Group represented Maxzone in the transaction.

Maxzone is scheduled to take occupancy of the building in April 2013.
