The Opus Group® Announces Completion of Build-to-Suit for Community Power Corporation

DENVER, Colo. - The Opus Group announced today the completion of construction on a 50,400-square-foot build-to-suit industrial building for Community Power Corporation (CPC) in Englewood, Colo.

Located in the Compark Business Campus, the new facility includes 40,510 square feet of warehouse and storage space and an additional 9,890 square feet of office for CPC. Previous Opus companies have developed six buildings in collaboration with Mike Vickers at the Compark Business Campus. The site provides convenient access to East 470 and the Interstate 25 Business Corridor along with close proximity to a network of bike and jogging trails and corporate and neighborhood retail options.

The facility includes ESFR sprinklers and 24-foot clear storage. The new larger, single-story facility supports the expansion of CPC’s operations and will help increase productivity by bringing everything into one facility.

“Our facility had some distinct usage requirements, including office space, internal production area, as well as outside areas for storage and testing of our BioMax® waste energy conversation systems,” said Kevin Buelke, manager, customer support and special projects at Community Power Corporation. “Opus was able to deliver our build-to-suit facility with these three unique features in less than a year.”

Construction was completed in late June.
