Opus Development Corporation Announces Retail Fully Leased at Stadium Village Flats


MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - ​Opus Development Corporation today announced that the retail space at Stadium Village Flats is 100 percent leased. The committed retail tenants at this apartment and retail complex, located in Stadium Village near the University of Minnesota’s East Bank campus, are CVS/pharmacy, Noodles & Company and Dino’s Gyros

“We’re extremely pleased to have these three tenants on board,” said Dave Menke, senior vice president and general manager, Opus Development Corporation. “These businesses already have well-established relationships with the University of Minnesota, making them ideal tenants to provide convenience and variety to the residents of Stadium Village Flats.” 

CVS/pharmacy will occupy approximately 14,800 square feet, making this the largest pharmacy on campus. CVS is scheduled to open its doors in early August 2012 in time for fall classes. 

Noodles & Company is relocating from its current location in Stadium Village to occupy 2,350 square feet. Noodles & Company plans to open at its new location by late August.

The final retail tenant will be Dino’s Gyros, which has a long-standing partnership with the University of Minnesota serving food at various events. Stadium Village Flats is Dino’s Gyros’ first location at the University of Minnesota. The restaurant will occupy approximately 2,000 square feet and is also scheduled to open by late August. 

Since the groundbreaking last May, Stadium Village Flats continues to be on time, scheduled for completion in August with renters moving into their units later that month. Interest in the residential space remains strong with leasing nearing 100 percent.
