Scott is responsible for planning and organizing construction projects to ensure they are finished in a quality manner, on schedule, safely and within budget to develop and maintain a positive company reputation with the client and community. He maintains effective communications with the project’s immediate supervisor and the project manager on all construction matters that relate to project success.
Scott is responsible for the schedule, quality, budget and safety on assigned construction projects. He also reviews and coordinates construction productivity and scheduling; supervises superintendents in the completion of duties; monitors, enforces and maintains job safety for construction projects; directs the development and maintenance of quality assurance programs and goals; performs administrative activities to ensure the successful completion of construction projects; and directs the purchase, repair and maintenance of equipment used on construction projects.
Scott joined Opus in 1996 and has over 25 year of experience. He has undergone OSHA 10-hour training and is a member of Builders Association of Minnesota and AWCI's Carpenters Craft Committee.
