The Opus Group (Opus) announced today the start of construction on a 204,000-square-foot speculative industrial building in Maple Grove, Minn. The project, known as Arbor Lakes Corporate Center, is a collaboration with
Inland Development Partners (Inland).

Situated on a 13-acre site at the northeast corner of Zachary Lane and 85th Avenue in Maple Grove, the 204,000-square-foot building will offer easy access to major transportation routes, including Interstates 494 and 694 as well as the newly improved Highway 610.
The site will first undergo environmental remediation to fully remove existing landfill and environmental pollutants from the former disposal and waste transfer site. The building will feature modern industrial specifications to meet various tenant needs, including 28-foot clear height ceilings, 32 docks and two drive-in doors. Additionally, the development offers architectural precast exterior with enhanced glass lines and approximately 300 parking stalls to support the demand for office and lab space in the submarket. Construction is expected to be completed in late 2019.
