The Opus Group (Opus) announced today the start of construction on a 495,977-square-foot speculative industrial development in Greenwood. The project, known as Greenpointe Logistics Center, is a joint venture with Diamond Realty Investments, Inc.
“We are excited to bring our first development to the Greenwood submarket,” said Douglas J. Swain, vice president, real estate development, Opus Development Company, L.L.C. “With a strong labor force in the area, this building will meet the growing demand for space, while satisfying both employees and tenants with a centrally located, modern industrial facility.”
The building will be a cross-dock facility, featuring 36-foot clear heights and ample employee parking. Designed with flexibility in mind, the building is able to accommodate a single user or two tenants. The facility will have two entrances off Graham Road, east of Interstate-65. Construction is scheduled for completion in late spring 2018.

Opus’ local work includes the recently completed and sold 3901 Hanna Circle at Airport Business Center in Indianapolis.
Opus Development Company, L.L.C. is the developer, Opus Design Build, L.L.C. is the design-builder and Opus AE Group, L.L.C. is the architect and structural engineer of record. Luke Wessel from Cushman & Wakefield will market the property for lease.
