The Opus Group® Announces the Completion of Its First Senior Living

The Opus Group (Opus) welcomed its first residents today to its new four-story, 147-unit senior living development in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In partnership with Ebenezer Management, this new facility offers high-quality services and housing choices for people looking for independent living, assisted living, memory care and even short-term stays.

Orchards of Minnetonka offers studio, one and two-bedroom apartments with various floor plans. Each independent and assisted living apartment has a full kitchen with a washer and dryer. The building includes a salon, multi-purpose chapel space, club room, billiards, community room and two dining areas to serve residents and their needs. Residents will enjoy the outdoors with a walking path, putting green, gardening beds and a small orchard. With an ideal location just minutes from Ridgedale Library, premiere shopping at Ridgedale Mall, grocery stores and a variety of restaurants, residents will have access to the development's private bus for transportation. Memory care residents will have a dedicated garden and unique activity nooks to suit the needs of their care.

“We are excited to welcome residents to the Orchards and bring this offering to the city of Minnetonka," said Matt Rauenhorst, vice president and general manager of real estate development at Opus. “We're proud to bring a new, expansive senior living facility to this community. Ebenezer is known for delivering high-quality, compassionate services, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them to serve people across the continuum of aging care."

With 100 years of experience, Ebenezer is Minnesota's largest senior living operator. Ebenezer, which is owned by Fairview Health Services, is dedicated to helping seniors' live meaningful lives through numerous housing options and added services.

"We are proud to be partnering with Opus on the Orchards of Minnetonka project and look forward to a longstanding relationship here and other projects in the future," said Jon Lundberg, president of Ebenezer and Fairview Senior Services. "Orchards of Minnetonka is a beautiful community, and residents are excited to share their new home with the public at the large grand opening celebration scheduled for June 20."

Opus was the developer, design-builder and the architect and engineer of record. Sperides Reiners Architects was the design architect and Consilium Home was the interior designer.
