Opus Debuts Largest Industrial Space in High-Demand Sub-Market in Phoenix

With a nearby submarket where demand is outpacing available industrial warehouse facilities, Opus entered the Phoenix market by developing a 393,300-square-foot spec warehouse and distribution center near the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The building is the largest industrial space by more than 100,000 square feet.

Named Opus Airport Industrial, this in-fill product will help meet increasing demand for e-commerce, distribution and manufacturing facilities in the area, which lacks quality distribution buildings and available land. Early activity and interest in the project was encouraging, as the market for this type of project in Phoenix is healthy.

Situated on 23 acres, Opus Airport Industrial is centrally located within Phoenix and is less than one mile from Interstate 17 with a full-diamond interchange. The building, designed to accommodate single- or multi-tenant occupancy, offers:

  • 32-foot clear height;
  • 65 trailer parking stalls;
  • 288 car parking spaces;
  • two acres of excess land;
  • quick access to the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport;
  • 100% concrete, fully-secured truck courts with 185-feet-deep truck entry and
  • dedicated semi-truck lanes.

In addition to being the largest available industrial space under one roof in the sub-market, Opus Airport Industrial includes the most modern, efficient features desired for state-of-the-art distribution operations.

The building was completed in September 2016 and achieceived LEED Gold Certification.
