The Opus Group announced today the start of construction on Dodd Road Business Center, a speculative industrial development in Eagan, Minn. Construction on the 152,000-square-foot building is expected to be complete in the first quarter of 2020.
“We’re excited to bring a highly-functional industrial project to the Eagan market to meet the growing demand for modern industrial space,” said Joe Mahoney, senior manager, real estate development, at Opus. “This new development will bring an underutilized site into use within the community.”
Dodd Road Business Center sits on approximately 10 acres and offers ample employee and visitor parking with approximately 180 parking stalls. The speculative development will suit a variety of industrial users with features such as a 32-foot clear height, 35 dock doors and two drive-in doors. The development will also provide convenient access to major transportation routes, including Interstate 494, I-94 and I-35E, as well as the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport.
Dodd Road Business Center will be located on the corner of Opperman Drive and Dodd Road and feature an attractive brick façade with glass line windows and an outdoor patio.
Opus is the developer, design-builder and architect and engineer of record on the project. The project will be marketed for lease by Eric Rossbach and Bill Ritter of Colliers.
