As Manager of Design Architecture, Theo is instrumental in the generation of creative ideas and problem solving early on in the design process. His primary responsibilities include zoning review, site review and contextual analysis, floor plan layouts, unit planning, exterior massing and design and exterior material selections. During the early phases, Theo works with the client and contractor to design a project that meets all the clients’ goals, is cost effective and meets the requirements set forth by the city. Once a project is committed, he works to ensure that the design intent is met throughout construction documentation and construction administration.
Theo has been in the industry for over 14 years and with Opus since 2019. Previously, he specialized in high-end single family residential architecture, working for multiple award-winning firms throughout the Twin Cities. Theo’s work has won numerous awards and been featured in multiple publications and papers.
He has a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in architecture from the University of Minnesota.
